“Influence is exerted not only by registered lobbyists but also by businesses, NGO’s, and religious communities,” said Rugilė Trumpytė on Lithuanian National Radio and Television’s (LRT) radio talk-show “Aktualijų studija”. According to her, there is nothing out of the ordinary about the fact that members of Parliament meet with different interest groups, however it is a cause for worry when such meetings are not unveiled.
